Tater Tot Casserole with Ground Beef

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag tater tots
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with onions until cooked through.
  3. Drain excess fat and stir in cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. In a baking dish, spread the beef mixture evenly.
  5. Top with tater tots and sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the tater tots are golden brown.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add some mixed vegetables to the beef mixture.
  • This dish can also be topped with sour cream before serving.
