- 2 pounds beef brisket
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cups broccoli, chopped
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons water
- In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Mix well.
- Cut the beef into bite-sized pieces and add them to the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a pan over medium heat and add the marinated beef. Cook until browned.
- Add the broccoli and stir-fry for about 5 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water and add it to the pan to thicken the sauce.
- Cook for an additional 2 minutes and serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
- Serve over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
