  • 2 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 8 slices provolone cheese

Instructions

  1. Place the beef chuck roast in the slow cooker.
  2. Add sliced onions and minced garlic on top of the roast.
  3. Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, then sprinkle dried thyme over the mixture.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender.
  5. Once cooked, remove the roast and shred it using two forks.
  6. Toast the hoagie rolls and fill them with shredded beef and provolone cheese.
  7. Serve hot, with the broth used for dipping.
