Slow Cooker Chicken Shawarma

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 pita breads

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the spices, garlic, olive oil, and lemon juice.
  2. Coat the chicken thighs in the spice mixture.
  3. Place the sliced onion at the bottom of the slow cooker and top with the seasoned chicken.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
