  • 3 potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch (optional, for thickening)

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine beef, broth, carrots, potatoes, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  2. Stir everything to combine, then cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or until the beef is tender.
  3. If you prefer a thicker stew, mix cornstarch with a little water and stir it into the stew in the last 30 minutes of cooking.
