Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine cake flour and granulated sugar, set aside.
  3. In another bowl, beat egg whites with cream of tartar and salt until soft peaks form.
  4. Gradually add the sugar mixture while beating, until stiff peaks are formed.
  5. Fold in vanilla extract and raspberries gently.
  6. Pour the batter into an ungreased tube pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes until the cake springs back when touched.
