  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine milk, butter, egg, and peppermint extract.
  3. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
  5. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and sprinkle with crushed peppermint candies and chocolate chips.
  7. Roll up the dough and slice into rolls, placing them in a baking dish.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
