Oreo Cheesecake: The Indulgent Treat You Can Easily Make at Home

Oreo Cheesecake

A creamy and rich Oreo Cheesecake that you can easily prepare in your kitchen.

  • 24 Oreo cookies
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 additional Oreo cookies, crushed, for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Crush 24 Oreo cookies and mix with melted butter, then press into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Mix in sour cream and heavy cream until smooth.
  6. Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust and bake for 55-60 minutes.
  7. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for an hour.
  8. Remove from the oven and cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  9. Before serving, top with crushed Oreo cookies.

Notes

  • For a denser cheesecake, bake longer but keep an eye on the edges.
  • Use a water bath for a creamier texture if desired.
