- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 4 cups beef broth
- 8 ounces lasagna noodles, broken
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, beef broth, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
