Ingredients
Scale
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup mini marshmallows
1 cup walnuts, chopped
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
Add in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips, marshmallows, and walnuts.
Drop large spoonfuls of cookie dough onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.
Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
For a richer flavor, you can use dark chocolate chips instead of semisweet.
Ensure not to overbake the cookies to maintain a chewy texture.
