- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts or sugar-free chocolate chips (optional)
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine melted coconut oil, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until combined. Fold in nuts or chocolate chips if using.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are firm.
- Let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
