  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, combine the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  5. Spoon the batter into the greased muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before removing from the tin. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, substitute half of the milk with sour cream.
  • Feel free to use frozen blueberries if fresh ones are not available.
