- 3 pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 can beef broth
- 2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 French rolls
- 1 cup provolone cheese, sliced
- Place the beef chuck roast in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix together the beef broth, water, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Pour over the roast.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender.
- Remove the roast and shred the meat.
- Strain the cooking liquid and serve it alongside.
- Place shredded meat in French rolls and top with provolone cheese.
