  • 3 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 can beef broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 French rolls
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, sliced

Instructions

  1. Place the beef chuck roast in the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the beef broth, water, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Pour over the roast.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender.
  4. Remove the roast and shred the meat.
  5. Strain the cooking liquid and serve it alongside.
  6. Place shredded meat in French rolls and top with provolone cheese.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider searing the roast before placing it in the crockpot.
  • You can add sliced onions and bell peppers for more veggies.
