  • 1 pound white fish fillets
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 corn tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Season fish fillets with paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat fish in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Place fish on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden.
  5. In a bowl, mix cabbage, cilantro, lime juice, mayonnaise, and hot sauce.
  6. Warm tortillas in a pan or microwave.
  7. Assemble tacos with baked fish and slaw.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, you can deep fry the coated fish instead of baking.
