A delicious and creamy Cajun chicken pasta recipe perfect for a bold and indulgent dinner.

  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 12 ounces penne pasta
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken and Cajun seasoning, cooking until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
  3. Add the garlic and bell peppers to the skillet and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine, allowing to simmer for a couple of minutes.
  5. Mix in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to combine and heat through.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier dish, add more Cajun seasoning.
  • Can substitute chicken with shrimp or sausage.
