  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each.
  4. Mix in vanilla and sour cream until smooth.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together the cinnamon and chopped walnuts.
  7. Scoop the batter into the muffin tin, filling each cup halfway, then sprinkle a layer of the cinnamon mixture and top with more batter.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
