- 2 pounds chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon ground paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (for sauce)
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- In a bowl, mix together olive oil, cumin, paprika, turmeric, cinnamon, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.
- Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and coat well. Marinate for at least 1 hour, ideally overnight.
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the marinated chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Remove and let it rest for a few minutes.
