Chicken Marsala Pasta

An easy and delicious Chicken Marsala Pasta recipe that brings comfort to family nights.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast
  • 8 ounces fettuccine
  • 1 cup Marsala wine
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package directions; drain.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until browned.
  3. Add garlic and mushrooms, cooking until mushrooms are tender.
  4. Pour in Marsala wine, scraping the bottom of the skillet to release brown bits.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, salt, and pepper; simmer until sauce thickens.
  6. Toss in cooked fettuccine and parsley; combine well.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • This dish can be served with grated Parmesan cheese for extra flavor.
