- 8 ounces elbow macaroni
- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- Cook the macaroni according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add cooked chicken and barbecue sauce, stirring until heated through.
- Stir in the cooked macaroni, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Remove from heat and mix in milk and half of the cheddar cheese.
- Transfer to a baking dish and top with remaining cheese and chopped turkey bacon.
- Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
- Add extra BBQ sauce on top for more flavor.
- Substitute chicken with pulled pork for a different twist.
