  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed; fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Fill each muffin cup about 3/4 full with the batter.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

  • For extra rich flavor, add a handful of chocolate chips on top before baking.
  • Try using mini chocolate chips for a different texture.
