Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together sugar and butter until smooth.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in the buttermilk.
  4. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon; gradually mix into the creamed mixture.
  5. Fold in diced apples.
